Balsam Mountain Preserve

The lowest density private Club community in the western North Carolina mountains, Balsam Mountain Preserve offers residents a luxury community within a park setting.

Champion HillsHendersonville, North Carolina
Champion Hills is a private, member-owned golf community and club located just outside historic Hendersonville in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. A limited number of full-equity and social-equity memberships are still available for this community. The Champion Hills golf course was designed by master golf architect Tom Fazio and was rated by Golf Digest in 2007 as one of the 10 best golf courses in North Carolina. Members of Champion Hills Club have access to amenities that include tennis courts, a heated pool and hydro spa, and a fitness center and personal trainer. A premier mountain golf community and private equity club, Champion Hills began in 1988 as a local venture by a small group of investors who believed this unique corner of Western North Carolina could yield an amazing golf experience.
Tom Fazio, renowned golf architect, was so inspired by the land that he joined the project as both designer and investor in 1989. In 1992, The Branigar Organization, a subsidiary of Union Camp Corporation, purchased Champion Hills and built a strong foundation for the Club's growth. By 2001, Champion Hills Club was entirely member-owned.

Connestee Falls Brevard, North Carolina
Connestee Falls is a planned gated residential community, governed entirely by its property owners through an elected Board of Directors. Property owners control and own all amenities and common property. This luxury community’s has a semi-private, mountain golf course that offers a perfect golf experience... challenging greens, beautiful layout, scenic views and abundant wildlife.
Nestled in the cool foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Connestee Falls is ecologically designed to preserve the natural environment, and promote an unhurried way of life. Deer and other wildlife roam free. There is as much to do, or as little to do, as one desires … from planned recreational and social activities such as golf and tennis to small shared interest groups. Connestee has four beautiful lakes: Lake Ticoa (75 acres), Lake Tiaroga (31 acres), Lake Wanteska (45 acres) and Lake Atagahi (80 acres). No power boats are permitted.

Crest Mountain

Creston Mountain CommunityBlack Mountain, North Carolina
Creston represents a return to the basics of Western North Carolina mountain land ownership. It's a place for people who like their privacy but want the opportunity to get to know their neighbors, perhaps while walking on one of the foot trails meandering through the Creston Reserve or at one of the community greens and overlooks.
The concept is to keep it simple, quiet, and serene so the natural beauty of the land takes precedence. 50% of 1100 acres is designated as Creston Reserve/Common Property which will remain undeveloped for all residents to enjoy as part of Creston living.
A small portion of Creston's 1,100 acres are given over to 'Cabins at Creston', a retreat-style community nestled among forests near trickling mountain streams. Banner Elk, North Carolina
Headwaters at Banner Elk has a broad range of mountain property for sale allowing this planned community to match up with a variety of styles and price points. All residents have access to the full range of amenities, including The Pointe Clubhouse, indoor and outdoor swimming pool pavilion, two spring-fed lakes with picnic areas and fishing piers, tennis courts, a concert amphitheater, the lakeside park and a community garden.
Mountain homesites range from just over one acre to four acres with an average of about two acres. Most have a south/southwest orientation for excellent mountain views. Mountain lots are priced from about $140k up to the low $400’s with an average price in the low $200’s.
The Woodlake mountain cottages feature a few different floorplans and are popular for those wanting a luxury mountain cabin in the woods. Prices range from the low $300’s to the low $500’s.
The condominium villas offer better privacy than is typically associated with luxury mountain villas. Each building is limited to four villas and is situated on a minimum 3 acres. Mountain villas range from about 1500 to 2150 s.f. and are priced from the upper $300’s.
